We are looking for an exceptional and ambitious new Chief Executive to lead the Chartered Institute of Building, to consolidate recent successes and to work with members, stakeholders and staff to shape the future impact of the world's largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership. CIOB leads the way and sets standards in a sector of huge economic, social and sustainability significance. CIOB members in the UK and around the world are at the forefront of the development of a built environment of which members, the industry and society at large can be proud.

 

This role requires outstanding qualities of strategic leadership, business judgment, communications skills and political nous, coupled with a real appetite for success at the head of a multidisciplinary body whose members are committed to modern professionalism and the public interest.

TRUSTEE-DIRECTORS

The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade

​​

​​The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade is the professional membership body representing and supporting individuals and businesses involved in importing, exporting and international trade, setting and maintaining professional standards in international trade management and export practice. It plays a critical role in the successful promotion and development of the United Kingdom's role and capability in international trade.

​

We are looking for three new Trustee-Directors to join a board which sets the organisation's strategic direction, ensures that it meets its legal obligations and provides support to and oversight of the executive. The best candidates will have a strong appreciation of the Institute's purpose and potential and will possess the breadth and quality of experience at a senior level to bring challenge, insight and leadership to the role.
